| Omnibus
An Exhibition of Student Artwork and Literature.
( May 16– June 3, 2005 )
( Reception : May 20, 7-9 pm, 2005 )
The Omnibus, USF’s art and literature magazine, will host a multimedia event at Centre Gallery. The artwork, poetry, and prose displayed were chosen for the 2004/2005 Omnibus. Art mediums include sketches, paintings, photography, and sculptures.
On reception night, selected literature will be read aloud by their authors. Guests are encouraged to express their artistic and literary talents by drawing and writing on The Omnibus banner.
Attendees will also be treated to the funky jazz and blue styling of Jonathan Milton and Brian Howard. Milton is a political science major who has played his saxophone in USF’s symphony band, jazz ensemble, and saxophone studio. Howard started playing the piano when he was 3 years old and is the keyboard player and singer in The Anodyne Project.
Coffee has been generously donated by Starbucks and snacks will be provided by Winn Dixie.
Contributing artists include James McKean, Nicholas Sebetto, Elena Vee, Kurt Piazza, Alex Costantino and Jaisen Crockett. Writers spotlighted are Crystal Crawford, Nikolaus Drellow, David Hoffman, Jason Argo, E. Ryan Hall, Ashley Konrad, Sherry Mims, Joshua Bumgardner, Elise Hess, Eljyn Reid, Dan Catlin and Matthew Pleasant. Please join us on May 20, at 7 pm.
