The [5]art artists collective presents Five +5, a group show featuring the work of the collective's members and five additional artists. The exhibition will include work by members T. Hampton Dohrman, Tyler Jopek, Tracy Midulla Reller, Kurt Piazza and Jasmine Schurrer; as well as Bianca Pratorius (Germany/Miami), Brian Reedy (Miami), Carolina Sardi (Argentina/Miami), Atsushi Tameda (Japan/LA) and Marie Yoho Dorsey(Tampa).
The opening reception is Friday September 28 from 7- 11 p.m. in conjunction with the re-dedication party of Gallery 1906 as the West Tampa Center for the Arts. There will be a suggested donation of $3 for the opening reception, with all proceeds going to the development of the new Arts center.
There will be a closing reception on Friday October 26 from 8 - 10 p.m. featuring a symposium from 7 - 8 p.m. with artists Atsushi Tameda and Marie Yoho Dorsey. Five + 5 will be held at the collective's West Tampa gallery, located on the second floor of The West Tampa Center for the Arts at1906 N. Armenia #211. Admission is free for both the symposium and the closing reception but donations are welcome.
