"Natural Elements" presents black and white photographs created using traditional printing and darkroom techniques, of the green world. This body of work created by photographer Marie-Suzanne Tewfik is a series of 28 images that communicates the importance of our historical connection and necessary reconnection with plants in our world. This collection explores forces, forms, balance and rhythm associated with the intriguing world of plants. Looking beyond their aesthetic elements, with few exceptions, plants are the basis of almost all natural systems, including the ones we live in. These images encourage an awareness of the world. This is her first solo exhibition at the Centre Gallery.
