Michael Sherard has been an illustrator and graphic designer for 25 years in Tampa. Mike owns Sherard Design in South Tampa where he specializes in corporate communications and in visually making over his local and national clients.

Mike graduated from Ringling School of Art and Design and is currently a student at the New York Institute of Photography. While he was at Ringling he also studied privately with internationally known classic master-sculptor Leslie T. Posey and showed his watercolors at a Sarasota gallery. After he graduated he was an illustrator and newsroom graphic designer at both of the Tampa newspapers. From there he was an art director at a couple advertising agencies working on national accounts before setting up his own shop.

As an artist first, I¹m equally comfortable whether it be drawing, painting, designing anything from trademarks to websites, producing corporate collateral pieces to setting up a photo shoot. But I really like papier mache sculpting, it brings all the art disciplines together and it's a lot more fun than dealing with clients... oops, did I say that?
