Colette Morissette is a self taught artist born in Tampa and raised in Belleair Beach. It is here that she first fell in love with the ocean, which influences much of her artwork.

Hooked on visual self expression since her first box of crayolas, Colette has spent her entire life creating art. She is self taught in nearly every medium available - watercolor, soft pastel, oil pastel, acrylic, pen, pencil - whatever she can get her hands on. By day, she manages her graphic design studio, Colette Morissette Inc., which provides a complete range of advertising services. Whether it be pen & paper or mouse & monitor, Colette always creates from the heart. And as she puts it, "Creating to me is like breathing. Lack of it causes me to suffocate."

Colette truly loves what she does, and she hopes her art will bring others as much happiness as it does her.
