Tyler Jopek is an art student currently residing in Tampa, Florida. Jopek focuses primarily on identity, the deconstructing & reconstruction of concepts, and a juxtaposition of confrontational and non-provoking philosophies in his work. Involving presumably arbitrary icons and simplified figures in complex compositions of line and intentional void he creates vast, dismal spaces. A majority of his compositions address absconding landscapes with a lack of ornamentation creating seemingly self-conscious portraits. His work can be seen in galleries and alternative venues throughout the greater Tampa area.
